Stuffed black mussels

Black mussels stuffed with bell pepper, chopped tomatoes, bread crumb, eggs, pecorino cheese, parsley, basil… A great appetizer!

Ingredients:

  • Black mussels
  • Olive oil
  • White wine
  • Bread crumbs
  • Bell pepper
  • Eggs
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Basil
  • Parsley
  • Pecorino cheese
  • Tomatoes (for the sauce)

Cooking time:

15 minutes

 

Directions:

Create the stuffing with bell pepper, chopped tomatoes, bread crumb, eggs, pecorino cheese, parsley, basil and salt. Stuff the black mussels with the mussle still on the shell and gently seal them. After that, put the mussels in a hot skillet with extra virgin olive oil and garlic. Add chopped tomatoes, a bit of salt and then put black mussels in the pan. Cover the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes (medium/low fire).
