Stuffed bell peppers

Stuffed bell peppers are a fancy way to serve peppers. They are so easy, delicious and impressive enough to serve for special occasions or special guests!

 

Ingredients:

  • Bell peppers
  • Olive oil
  • Pepe trito
  • Bread crumbs
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Garlic
  • Italian sausage
  • Parmigiano
  • Tomatoes
  • Origano
  • Zucchini
  • Pecorino
  • Onion
  • Parsley
  • Basil

 

Cooking time:
35 minutes

 

Directions:

Slice the top 1/2 inch from the top of peppers and cut out the stems from the tops. Cut the core from the inside of the peppers and strip away any seeds. Put a little bit of salt, pepper and olive oil. Take our abruzzo stuffing and stuff peppers with it.

Add the tomato with tomato juice in a terracotta pot. Add salt, pepper and olive oil and a tiny bit of garlic, then a little basil to flavour the tomato sauce.

Place the bell pepper, put more olive oil and a little bit of tomato juice on top. Put it in the oven for about 35 minutes at 375 F.
