Abruzzo stuffing
Abruzzo stuffing is one of the most universal stuffing that you can put anywhere. Bell peppers, eggplants, fish: you can stuff anything you want!
Ingredients:
- Bell peppers
- Zucchini
- Garlic
- Origan
- Pecorino
- Bell peppers
- Salt
- Basil
- Parsley
- Chopped tomatoes
- Italian sausage
- Bread crumbs
- Onions
- Olive oil
- Parmigiano
- Scamorza
Cooking time:
15 minutes
Directions:
Add extra virgin olive oil in a hot cooking pan, then add onion, bell peppers, zucchini and sauté genlty. Add italian sausage. When the vegetables are almost cooked, add a little bit of garlic.
Mix with breadcrumbs and chopped tomatoes, parmigiano, pecorino, parsley, origan, basil and just a little bit of pepe trito, salt and pepper. Cut scamorza (which is a dehydrated mozzarella) into small pieces and add it to the stuffing.
Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil. Squeeze the Abruzzo stuffing: when it’s compact it’s ready!
