Broccoli and sausage pasta
This is comfort food at it’s best: paccheri pasta, Italian sausage and broccoli!
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Black pepper
- Pepe trito (if you have it)
- Italian sausage
- Paccheri pasta
Cut and clean the fresh broccoli, and split them in four. Bring a large pan of water to the boil, then throw in the broccoli and cook for 3-4 mins more. In another pan, cook the pasta until nearly “al dente”.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add garlic and pepper. When It starts to colour a bit, add the sausages and cook them. Then add the broccoli with a bit of their water. Put in the pasta, increase the heat to get rid of the excess water.
Serve hot with the Parmesan or Pecorino shavings.
