The only drink you’ll need this summer: Aperol Spritz
The spritz is a typical aperitif (“aperitivo”) of the Northern Italy. There are several variants to the spritz cocktail: our favourite version is made with Aperol, with a splash of soda. Here’s the recipe!
Preparation time: 5 minutes
- Fill a wine glass with ice
- Combine prosecco with Aperol in equal parts
- Add a dash of soda
- Garnish with an orange slide
Turn your aperitif moment into perfection enjoying your Aperol spritz with some food. The Aperol spritz was born in Veneto region in 1919. In the original aperitif ritual, this drink was served with traditional snacks called ”cicchetti” (sandwiches, olives and tiny portions of local dishes). Throughout the years, the Aperol spritz became a versatile drink suitable to different moments, from a quick toast to a relaxed brunch.
